Meet the designer: Horst Kirschbaum
I was always focused in polyester strings. Because of the insistence of many players y overcome the challenge of creating a string with characteristics and playability of a natural gut. On the other hand I saw that the market offered just to join a couple of strings and called them hibrid. At Kirschbaum we have developed two strings with distinctive characteristics, but working together they enhance their properties. This Extreme Multifilament is designed to pair with any Kirschbaum String, but specially with Hybrid Mains offering more playability and shock absorption while avoiding the string movement. The feedback received from the extensive test players tell us that the job was well done.

“The power was enormous with this racquet, but without sacrificing control. It's very nice to always have the power at hand. Allows freedom to hybrid with any different Kirschbaum Strings of matching colors (Hybrix Spin; Hybrix Power, Pro Line I or Pro Line II Red, which gave me a good freedom to explore strings and different gauges mix. Mains stopped to move. More significant than with the various Spiky which I'm currently testing. Comfort is excellent. Spin potential is not as good as with a pure co-poly, but still good.”
